Looking for a new pistol? Then, Bersa has a newly redesigned model that you may want to take a look at. The Bersa TPR comes in both standard 4.25″ barrel and compact 3.25″ barrel versions with several new design features which make this worth considering at the price point.

Duncan Johnson brings us part of this statement:

“We’re excited to bring this next generation of Bersa TPRs to American consumers,” said Michael Sodini, President of Eagle Imports, Inc. “Once available only to military and law enforcement personnel, it’s always offered rugged durability and impressive accuracy. This new evolution makes the TPR officially one of my favorites for self-defense and sport.”

Of course, this pistol has other features that many shooters will like such as a Browning Petter barrel locking system to give consistent and reliable feeding of ammunition and ejection of spent casings.

Jacki Billings gives us more details on this pistol from the Argentinian company:

The pistol series includes a new thinner grip that grants shooters better reach to the trigger during single and double action. The TPR features serrations on the front of the frame as well as ambidextrous safety, slide and magazine releases.

The TPR series rounds out its attributes with a loaded chamber indicator, interchangeable Sig Sauer-style sights, Picatinny rail and an improved Browning-Petter locking system.

Another nice effect of this thinner grip is that women may appreciate it more as women tend to have smaller hands than men.

The TPR series is available in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP options and starts at just over $500. It is imported into the U.S. by Eagle Imports.

With all of these design updates to a pistol which already had a good measure of respect in the shooting world, it’s likely that you’re going to see even more nice firearms from Bersa.

  1. hilter 1935 praising Germany for adopting the first-ever registration program for all guns.

“This year 1935 will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!”adolf hilter! was follow swiftly by gun confiscation.

    • You’re absolutely right!confiscation will follow. My family lived thru this during the pre martial law era of Marcos in the Philippines. The carrot was to register all guns to make it easier to acquire concealed weapons permits and the stick was guaranteed raids. It was not half a year later when constabulary troops with complete lists of guns and gun owners come and confiscated guns in masse then martial law was declared.

  2. Oh, that could not happen here/here/here!! Yea right. Love Florida. Love my Glock 19 normal capacity whatever you want!

  3. The fbi and the Florida local police and the people he was living with are the ones to blame. If they would have documented his mental behavior ,there is no way he should have passed a back round check to buy a gun. The people he lived with should have never permitted him to have a gun in their house and should have reported him when he bought one. More security at schools would have prevented this tragedy, but the fbi is too busy spying on Trump to do their job. Just enforce the gun laws we got.
