Prepared Gun Owners

Is This The REAL Reason Democrats Want Gun Control?

When it comes to political rivalries, the personal insults from members of one part towards the other can get downright mean sometimes. Whether it’s one party calling the other warmongers (when, typically, the Democrats yelling that have voted for the wars that they’re blaming on Republicans) or one side calling the other bigots and Nazis (calling conservatives socialists? Really?). The hostile personal attacks from the left side of the political aisle against the other are often completely vile and the opposite of reality.

But an incredibly odd admission recently from a host on a major left-leaning news network (which many Republicans might find personally insulting if it were said about them) may explain what’s really going on with the left’s obsession with gun control. Joseph Mackinnon writes,

CNN host Dana Bash suggested this week that this year’s Democratic National Convention was strategically geared toward men with testosterone deficits, particularly those averse to type A male personalities and machismo displays.

Mackinnon continues:

According to Bash, this time around, Democrats are attempting to appeal to more effeminate men.

“They are doing so in trying to put forward male figures, Tim Walz being one of them, Doug Emhoff last night, who can speak to men out there who might not be the sort of testosterone-laden, you know, gun-toting kind of guy who wants to listen to Hulk Hogan and the kind of players that came out at the RNC or might want to listen to that,” said Bash. “But also, in addition, understand that it’s okay in 2024 to be a man comfortable in his own skin who supports a woman.”

“That’s something that they really are trying to work on with male voters beyond the base,” added Bash.

After the allusion to low-testosterone men, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff — who recently admitted having an affair during his first marriage — Jake Tapper referenced a previous conversation about “different definitions of masculinity in 2024” and suggested the Republican National Convention had alternatively been “testosterone-y,” citing speeches from UFC CEO Dana White, Kid Rock, and Hulk Hogan as examples.

So, to be clear, Bash is saying that men who lean Democrat in their politics have lower testosterone levels than politically conservative men.

Which begs all kinds of jokes about Democrats having any… shall we say, brass… down below. But this is a family-friendly site that wouldn’t crack jokes about Democrats and anti-gunners not having any… lower abdominal marbles.

In all seriousness, though, that lack of testosterone would explain the tendencies that Democrats seem to have towards wanting to be dominated and ruled over by a government, and it would explain why Democrats seem much less likely to be willing to stand up to an oppressive government or to choose to live independently from an oppressive government than Republicans are.

Because to have that kind of independence and backbone tends to be a sign of having bigger… testosterone levels.
