DISGUSTING News About Hunter Biden’s Gun Charges

Another day, another Hunter Biden story.

Or it’s seemed that way several times over the last few years. We find out about one Hunter Biden story, and the Biden administration and the legacy mainstream media try to make us believe that it is Russian disinformation. Or disinformation from the Trump campaign. Or independent media (like this site) misinformation.

And, then, in a few months, it turns out that it was all true.

Then, comes the next Hunter Biden story, and the cycle repeats.

It makes me think of a t-shirt that I saw recently that said, “I need new conspiracy theories because all of my old ones came true.”

It’s really been a ridiculous amount of gaslighting with their efforts to protect both Hunter Biden and his father Joe Biden.

And with today’s story, we have confirmation from Joe Biden himself that he (and, by implication, his administration) has been lying about things for years.

Melanie Sun writes,

President Joe Biden said on Dec. 1 that he has signed “a full and unconditional pardon” for his son, Hunter Biden.Hunter Biden was charged with nine counts of federal tax evasion to the sum of $1.4 million between 2016 and 2019. He pleaded guilty to the tax charges in September after a previously negotiated plea deal fell through.

He was facing up to 17 years in prison and $1.3 million in fines, with sentencing scheduled in California for Dec. 16.

In a separate case, Hunter Biden was convicted by a jury of illegally purchasing a firearm in 2018 while using drugs, and lying about the drug use at the time of purchase. He illegally possessed the gun for 11 days. He was facing up to 25 years for the three counts, and was scheduled to be sentenced in Delaware on Dec. 4.

The pardon identified these two cases as well as any offenses that Hunter Biden “committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024.”

Sun continues:

The decision marks an about-turn for President Biden, who had previously promised not to use his extraordinary presidential powers to benefit his family members.

In June, Biden ruled out a pardon or commutation for his son, telling reporters as his son faced trial in the Delaware gun case that he will “abide by the jury decision.”

“I will do that and I will not pardon him,” the president said.

Joe Biden’s reason for pardoning Hunter? “I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

So, Joe, are you, now, saying that the Justice Department selectively and unfairly prosecutes people? How about in the case of January 6th protesters? How about people arrested for simply praying outside of buildings that your Justice Department said they weren’t allowed to pray outside of (see here and here)? What about people harassed for wanting to protect their children?

Was your Justice Department selectively and unfairly prosecuting those people?

We know the answer to that question already.

The difference is that, in Hunter Biden’s case, he was guilty of committing crimes. In the case of politically conservative Americans who have been punished under Justice Department lawfare, they didn’t actually commit crimes.

Do you think Biden would have pardoned you or me if we had lied on an ATF Form 4473, if we had been using drugs but answered no to that question on the form?

His administration would have thrown us in jail and tossed the key.

This abuse of political position and power for personal reasons is simply disgusting. It wouldn’t have mattered who did it, and the American people deserve better.
