Budget Pistol For Christmas?

Christmas. It’s that time of year when we celebrate many things. But whether one is religiously-minded or not, one thing that most people in the U.S. celebrate around Christmas is gift giving.

But what do you get for someone who loves guns when there are so many options, especially if you don’t want to break the bank?

Great question. Now, the first thing that we’ll mention is that, to avoid issues in some states, you may want to be the person that you are buying this particular gift for.

That being said, if you’re looking for a new pistol that doesn’t break the bank, at least one writer recommends going with a model that’s been out for a few years, now, and, no, I’m not talking about a Glock (not everyone considers Glock “budget friendly”).

Eric Hung tells us which pistol that he’s recommending for those on a budget:

Another pistol that we have fallen in love with is the Canik TP9 Elite SC. This budget gun is not only affordable but also offers amazing accuracy and a fantastic trigger.

That’s right, the Canik TP9 Elite SC. Wyatt Sloan writes,

[The bottom line is, throughout] testing, the TP9 Elite SC proved to be accurate, relatively easy to shoot, and 100% reliable.

Now, Sloan noted that the TP9 Elite SC is “Wider than most micro-compacts” and, also, that it has a “Taller bore axis.”

On the positive side, though, the TP9 Elite SC has an “Excellent trigger,” is “Accurate,” and is a “Great value with included accessories.”

When asked the question about who this particular pistol is for, Sloan writes,

These guns are built for those who want a relatively easy-to-conceal gun at a great price without having to sacrifice features or shell out for upgrades.

Remember, this pistol does come with a great trigger and ships optics cut and with an OWB (outside of the waistband) holster, along with a few other things, so, there really isn’t a whole lot more that you may want to buy after getting the pistol beyond, of course, your ammunition, an IWB (in waistband) holster, if you prefer that, and an optic if you don’t buy the pistol with an optic already installed.

Simply put, you get a lot for your money.

So, if you’re in the market for a budget pistol that is a great value with an excellent trigger, the Canik TP9 Elite SC may be one to consider.
