She Thinks Guns Kill People; He DESTROYED That Idea

Shallow thinking is a persistent issue when it comes to anti-2A “arguments.” In fact, it’s hard to even call them arguments because they fall apart so quickly under any kind of real scrutiny.

But let’s be honest here, how often have anti-2A advocates actually had their arguments scrutinized in front of them? Certainly not by the legacy mainstream media, in most public school classrooms, or by a huge portion of politicians and government bureaucrats.

It’s absurd.

And it’s this lack of scrutiny that allows these fallacies to flourish and spread. That’s one of the reasons that we need to keep talking about anti-2A arguments and demolishing them. How else are anti-2A advocates going to realize that they’ve been sold a bill of goods by the people who foisted that nonsense on them?

Fortunately, it’s not hard to find solid pro-2A arguments if you just look for them (most people won’t, though). And Colion Noir decided to have some fun by demolishing the popular anti-2A fallacy that “it’s the gun, not the person” that is to blame for gun violence.

You can watch his video below.

Did you see how easily Noir absolutely destroyed this person’s “argument?”

It was such a clear and easy win that you almost feel bad for her.

Almost.

You don’t really feel sorry for her, though, because she hasn’t taken the time to really examine her assumptions and thinking, and she is trying to take away our 2A rights based on her shallow reasoning.

Someone wrote one time that we should bring shame back because it helps people who don’t have internal motivation to better their lives by giving external motivation to act better. I don’t know if I fully agree with that idea, but I can see where it might be helpfully applied here. Because if she sees Noir’s take down of her thinking, it may jolt her into reconsidering her bad take on guns, the causes of gun violence, and gun control.

And that could be a good thing.
