Anti-2A Activist Makes The STUPIDEST Move

There is a segment of our population that clearly doesn’t think things through before saying or doing something.

Now, I have no doubt that that tendency isn’t even remotely limited to the U.S., but that statement is definitely true of the U.S.

Some people just don’t think (things through).

And today’s story is so clearly one of those types of things that it could easily be featured on a segment of dumb crook news.

It’s nothing if not absurd, and you can watch LibertyDoll’s video about it below.

So, an anti-violence rally. I agree with the sentiment (reducing violence is an admirable end goal). Frankly, I question how much of a difference these kinds of rallies make, but if they do help people to make better decisions, especially when it comes to carrying and using firearms, that’s a good thing.

The problem? A guy doesn’t seem to see the conflict between campaigning against gun violence while also (allegedly) carrying an illegally possessed weapon and attending that anti-violence rally with the gun and in a vehicle that was reported stolen.

All because he clearly didn’t think though his actions to consider the consequences of those actions.

And the arrest and statements of this guy seem to indicate pretty clearly that this guy is someone who hasn’t grown up being held responsible for his actions.

It’s just extraordinary. And, in this case, that’s not a good thing.

The lesson to be learned from all of this? It isn’t that good intentions justify any actions.

They don’t.

The lesson is that actions have consequences, no matter if your intentions are good or not. Bad actions tend to lead towards bad results for you.

And remembering this is especially important for legal gun owners because we’re held under extra scrutiny. So, be the responsible one, and show wisdom by considering the consequences of your actions before you take the action.
