Those on the political left seemed to have gone insane since Donald Trump won the election to become the 47th President of the United States. I understand that they’re upset about their favored candidate losing (though, the majority of Americans clearly were glad that happened), but some of the things that they’ve said since the election are just crazy.
And you don’t have to hear all of their statements to get the general idea. They’re all political leftists, after all. They march in lock step with each other and say the exact same things as each other. You’d think that they were reading from the same script and have the same handlers telling them what to do.
Who knows? That may be the case.
Whatever the reason, they all say the same crazy things. And several Democrat Governors have said that they will resist the policies that the Federal government will implement under Trump. Never mind that they said that red states couldn’t resist the Federal government when Biden was in charge (if he ever really was).
And what crazy things are they saying? I’ll just give you one example, and that will make the nonsense clear. Julio Rosas writes,
New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced she is going to work with Attorney General Letitia James to “protect the fundamental freedoms of New Yorkers in preparation for President-Elect Donald Trump’s second term” and “to address potential federal legal threats to reproductive freedom, gun safety laws, and other key issues.”
She’s going to protect freedoms by taking away freedom? What freedoms are more “fundamental” than those protected by the Bill of Rights, such as the Second Amendment?
Answer: There aren’t any. Hochul, as political leftists routinely do, is trying to redefine a word to mean its literal opposite, and, then, pretending to have the moral high ground.
Her constituents deserve better than that. All Americans deserve better than having to suffer under political leftists like her.
