There’s nothing that I find more entertaining than seeing the political left eat itself. Granted, there are a few things that I enjoy more (like range time, time with my wife, range time, time with family, range time, some video games, and range time). But the left eating itself certainly ranks up there towards the top of the list.
And that’s exactly what we have today: a fun (and very funny, in a crass way) instance of the left turning on each other.
Now, if you’ve followed politics closely over the years, then, you may be familiar with the name James Carville. He was, after all, the architect of Bill Clinton’s successful run for President in 1992. I may disagree with Carville’s politics, but there’s not question that he is both a very intelligent individual and an astute political operative.
And what he had to say about anti-2A zealot David Hogg is simply fantastic to hear. I quite literally laughed out loud when I heard it. No joke.
And if you understand why Carville said this about Hogg, then, you come to the conclusion pretty quickly that Carville is right.
To give you the details, including Carville’s comments, we have the video from Washington Gun Law’s William Kirk below.
Did you watch the video? I laugh every time that I hear that quote from Carville.
Can you blame Carville for being so angry, though? After all, the Democratic National Committee has decided that they want to alienate a huge portion of the U.S. population with radical left-leaning policies including gun control which is going to make it harder for Democrats to win elections.
It also doesn’t help that Hogg, instead of helping his party, decided to try to grift off of being a Vice Chair of the party. Sure, we’ve seen at least a few other politicians run grifts before (okay, we’ve seen lots of them do that), but Hogg is one of the more transparent about his personal grifting.
It’s quite a show. Frankly, I’m tempted to pop up some popcorn and listen to that Carville quote on repeat. It’s just that funny seeing the left eat their own.
