Sydney Sweeney has been all over the news lately. Now, I have to be honest, until the recent controversy over her ads for American Eagle came up, I had no idea who she was. Still don’t, really. I just know that the left has gone completely unhinged over her American Eagle ads.
Now, if you’re not familiar with the controversy, it comes down to this: Sydney Sweeney is wearing American Eagle jeans in the ads, and the tagline in the ads is Sydney Sweeney has good jeans.
Now, I took that as an amusing pun because when people talk about good genes, they’re typically talking about DNA, but the ads specifically says that Sydney Sweeney has good jeans, not genes (though, some of the ads do reference genetics in the add to play up the pun).
The political left has been beside themselves saying that these ads are Nazi propaganda.
I’m not kidding. You can watch one of the ads below to get an idea of what they’re losing their minds over.
But if that weren’t a big enough excuse to get upset with Sydney Sweeney, a recent video released by Taran Tactical Innovations, who worked on the John Wick movies, will have the left up in arms (pun intended), frothing at the mouth (hat tip to here for the lead). That’s right: Not only is Sydney Sweeney in ads that leftists are calling Nazi propaganda. Not only is she reportedly a registered Republican in Florida.
On top of all of that..
She apparently likes to shoot guns!
I’m not sure that there’s much more that Sydney Sweeney could do to make the political left hate her.
Then again, I’m not sure that she cares either.
Good for her. People would be better off ignoring leftist tantrums and demands and simply living their lives, training and carrying daily, of course.
