I respect Obama’s concern at the number of killings, especially the mass killings. But the problem is a people problem for which we currently have no solutions. Therefore “gun” control seems like a doable thing to do. The idea is to get rid of the semi-automatic rifles that use large magazines which hold a greater amount of ammo than an ordinary rifle. But when one looks at the records on these incidents, very few of them occur amidst 300 million people. Add to that the fact that terrorists are providing ideas for the use of other weapons to accomplish mass killings. Bombs, suicide bombs, and large vehicles like a truck or a bus at a public gathering are very attractive options. Therefore it is a bit late in history to lay the blame on a weapon that is not used that much. However it is being used as a sporting rifle which a lot more people see as a better weapon to have for defense. All this ignores the fact that illegal firearms, mostly pistols, are everywhere in major cities in the hands of irresponsible people often on drugs or alcohol. Of course, the bottom line is that the Second Amendment provides for personal weapons for defense. The more we go toward socialism and communism he more we need the security of more advanced weapons to defend ourselves.

And from what I see we need some major changes in the whole Government from the top down to the cities and states. Will we ever see people fight for their rights? I really don’t know but I sure hope so.

First of all, there is nothing common, about common sense! The left has proven that they speak before they think, take Nancy Pelosi for instance, this dizzy doozy is just a weed blowing in the wind! Remember, “Well, we have to pass it, to see what’s in it!” No, Nancy drool, you had it backwards, you need to read it, before you think about passing it! Would you buy a house, so you could go inside and take a look? No! Ridiculous!

I have never in my 54 years, seen more stupid people, in competent fools, in leadership today! It is a complete fiasco! The Obama administration has made a lie, acceptable and as far as the truth goes, well, there just isn’t any truth! The deceive, lie, cover up, obstruct, purger, and zero transparency!
The humiliating the United States of America, on a global-Scale! They have committed High-Treason! There are consequences for every action, and enaction! The person, or persons responsible for ridding our country of these evil imps in our White House hasn’t done their job! When our officials ignore the will of the people, then the people, force their will upon the tyrants! It’s way over due!
So, in going thru the correct chanel of impeachment, Congress may need a lift. How about donating medical spinal supports to each of them along with a long list of unconstitutional offenses committed by our unconstitutional commander in chief?
If you think our representatives are not as guilty as blowbama, take it from the standpoint that they are an accessory to the crimes committed on the American people. Didn’t all of them swear it uphold the very Constitution that they are now shunning? Washington DC needs renovated real fast. Vote out the useless reps from your state. Then, email & call up the new ones relentlessly and keep them true to their promises. Notice how corrupt the old career politicians are. All of them. We don’t have term limit laws but we can cirtanly have that by rotating the stock by vote and vote alone. Just a thought of sanity. Thanks.
Common sense gun control. What exactly is that? Laws don’t seem to affect the lawless. 90% favor gun control? How come the majority in the House especially and in the Senate are not among the 90%? Is the NRA to blame for that? Or is it the majority of the public believes that Obama is wrong? I buy the latter. While laws may slow down a few bad people, most of the time such laws are useless. We have a people problem that we do not yet have resolved. That is common sense. Do we have an uderstanding that bad guys more often use other weapons than supposed “assault” rifles? That is common sense also. So who is short on common sense on this issue?
