Donald Trump is no stranger to controversy, and he certainly seems to like shocking some people. Frankly, that’s one of the reasons that so many people like him.
Another reason that people like Trump is that he isn’t afraid to say out loud what many people believe in private. Things about how political leftists are trying to run our country into the ground and steal our liberties.
Things like the recent statement that he made about the Second Amendment which some people will find shocking. Michael Clements writes,
Former President Donald Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican nomination in the 2024 presidential race, vowed before hundreds of National Rifle Association (NRA) members to support them in their fight to preserve the Second Amendment.
President Trump was the keynote speaker at the Presidential Forum in the 2024 NRA’s Great American Outdoors Show on Feb. 9.
“Your Second Amendment will always be safe with me as your president,” he told the raucous crowd in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
To the crowd’s cheers, President Trump said he would make the Second Amendment a true American right by demanding that Congress pass a national reciprocity law so that Americans could legally carry a gun regardless of where they happen to be.
Clements continues:
“If Joe Biden is reelected, your gun rights will be gone, totally gone,” he said. “The only thing standing between you and the obliteration of the Second Amendment is me.”
Now, some people will, no doubt, think that Trump’s comments about the Second Amendment under a second Biden term are over the top. But are they really?
Biden has pushed hard for gun control and to steal your gun rights, and it looks pretty certain the Trump will be the Republican nominee for President this year, no matter what the party elites want. So, to protect the Second Amendment in America, it looks like Trump is our best chance of preventing Biden from doing his level best to strip Americans of all of their gun rights.

I was a dumocrat at one time. After hearing Feinstein from Calif. say they(dumocrats) were going to take our guns, l haven’t voted for one since.
I live in the mountains of northern Calif. and no one l know would ever give up their guns. No politician will ever have the power to take people’s guns.

Check out the spontaneous combustion of Lithium battery vehicles. One of them started a fire that burned the entire house down. Another was a bus that had the battery in the roof and the entire bus was engulfed in flames in less than 3 seconds (in China, but it is happening all over). Imagine if your kids were on a bus like that! Nobody could have gotten off alive. The damned thing literally exploded!
Many people have taken their cars to dealers to have an old battery replaced, and when they find out what it will cost they just abandon the vehicle on the dealer’s lot and get another car. $20,000 for a replacement lithium battery, plus labor.

I very much applaud that statement and think that it is way past time that the Second Amendment should be recognized as equal to the rest of the Bill of Rights. The problem of course is that the Congressional bodies, including the Republicans will very likely not allow that to happen. We the people are so ignorant concerning the foundation of the country and why the Constitution was written the way it was that there is little hope that we will ever actually observe the so called “Law of the Land” that is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, along with the other 17 amendments to it. It is sad, but the United States is failing and there is no one with the courage to step up and insure compliance with the law and intent of the Founders. I’m ultra-MAGA, voted for Trump both times (he won), former law enforcement, and also happen to be a firearms instructor. I’m definitely pro-2A. I will vote for Trump again, even though the elections are rigged. However, actions speak louder than words. Trump led the bump-stock ban in 2018 by ordering the DOJ to create a rule (a rule is not a law) to ban bump stock devices. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! That’s NOT pro-2A. What actions will Trump take to protect all our constitutional rights? To de-weaponize the federal agencies is a huge task and we all know the deep state has captured every branch of government and are well dug in. Trump is human and has shown us that he can be fooled into making some bad decisions. A government giving back to the people their rights and freedoms that were already taken away has never happened in history as far as I know. But I’ll vote for him, hoping he learned some good lessons, and hoping the election rigging doesn’t make all this mute.

Russel stated that if the Government says, You don’t need a GUN, YOU NEED A GUN. Hell even Jesus made a statement which Luke recorded at 22:36, in his day a sword was the equivalent to a Gun today just as in the days of horses as common mode transportation, a car is common mode today, which under law, unless used in commercial interprise is NOT a requirement of a license to operate on public roadways. One of my favorite pictures is the one seen on a T shirt, the 4 great Chiefs with Guns and the phrase below, Homeland Security since about 400 yrs ago. Then we are sure to use the 2nd amendment to take back our country spilling millions of gallons of blood all over every street city and state in the US and Alaska. And it will likely make all the world wars pail in comparison to the losses that will be endured till the end of tyranny and a new republic is born from what’s left. And it will be a long fight. We will still have a type of legal battle in the court system but likely not spill much blood
However it is best to relct the trumpuan side rather than the hell side. It will be auch shorter and less consuming battle and we might even have some lasting peace. While reading through some of the comments I found myself asking “Do these people have ANY values/principles that they just will NOT bend/waver/compromise on? I mean a bunch of the commenters are in total “Trump is our Savior” mode now I don’t know nor can I tell IF you/they’ve seen/heard &/or suspected the TRUTH and I find it VERY DIFFICULT to believe that one hasn’t but I will give the benefit of the doubt, that brings me to the next buncha people, these people SEE the TRUTH or SOME of it anyway, enough that you/they refer to him as “the lesser of two evils” yet you/they turn a blind eye and support him, now don’t get me wrong…Trump IS ABSOLUTELY “the lesser of two evils” but HOW can ANYONE justify choosing evil in ANY capacity, HOW does one determine what level of evil is acceptable &/or tolerable and WHY does someone else get to make those choices for you and I???
