NEW Tech Danger To Your Gun Rights

Technology is always a controversial subject. Some people are always all-in on whatever is new and exciting. Too often, those people don’t stop to consider the potential consequences of what is new, and, so, have to be held back by those with more level heads.

On the other extreme are the Luddites who hate technology just because it’s technology or something new. These people won’t adopt anything new technology-wise unless they are, basically, required to at metaphorical (or literal) gunpoint.

Most people, though, fall somewhere in between. They appreciate the good that technology can do without being delusionally, unrealistically optimistic about how everything will turn out with that technology. Maybe all of those Terminator movies put a damper on most people’s positive expectations about technology?

One of the completely valid concerns about technology is about how governments (and those who want to control how you think) can use it to keep you in the dark about things, to control information flow, and only allow you to think what they want they want you to think by not giving you other information options. John R. Lott, Jr. writes,

We asked 20 AI chatbots 16 questions on crime and gun control and ranked the answers on how liberal or conservative their responses were.

Lott continues:

The left-wing bias is even worse on gun control. Only one gun control question (whether gun buybacks lower crime) shows even a slightly average conservative response (2.22). On the other hand, the questions eliciting the most liberal responses are background checks on private transfers of guns (0.83), gunlock requirements (0.89), and red flag confiscation laws (0.89). For background checks on private transfers, all the answers express agreement (15) or strong agreement (3). Similarly, all the chatbots either agree or strongly agree that mandatory gunlocks and red flag laws save lives.

There is no mention that mandatory gunlock laws may make it more difficult for people to protect their families or that civil commitment laws allow judges many more options to deal with people than do red flag laws and that they do so without trampling on civil rights protections.Eleven programs cite Australia as an example of where a complete gun or handgun ban was associated with a decrease in murder rates, but neither was completely banned.

Here’s where you need to be concerned: AIs like those tested are being used to monitor and censor what information is available for people when they try to research information online. So, search engines such as Google, along with those used by YouTube, Facebook, and other online giants, will make it more difficult for people to get accurate information about firearms.

And that means that more and more people could be gaslighted by AI into thinking the debunked leftist talking points supporting gun control.

If that doesn’t concern you enough, consider that those gaslighted about gun rights by AI vote.

So, yes, you should be concerned about the effect of AI on your gun rights. Because it could be used to steal them by those who don’t know that they’ve been deceived.

  1. Gun control issues should definitely not be tracked by AI. It’s a crying shame, but the AI is only as sensible as the person using it. One would think that AI would ensure the integrity of the vote, but certain entities would simply view its use as another opportunity to cheat! God help us all.

  2. I think Biden and the government people doing this are a bunch of idiots. Hitler took up guns and then forced some of the German people to do what he wanted. You have to take up guns to take over people
