We live in a dangerous world. Now, for most of us, fortunately, we grew up in a country where the most horrible aspects of human nature were rare things to see. But that is changing, and we can thank those on the political left for that change.
Take, for example, today’s story. This is a story that, if you even hear it on the legacy mainstream media, it will be presented in a context pushing the idea that the Federal government was there and is able to protect you if it comes up again.
Don’t believe it.
Aside from the fact that the current left-leaning administration is more likely to use the Department of Justice to go after law-abiding Americans like you and me than to prosecute actual criminals, there is the fact that law enforcement simply can’t be everywhere all of the time. It’s just not possible.
And don’t let the political left try to gaslight you into believing otherwise because that’s an essential part of their argument to disarm you and me.
Back to today’s story, though. The very real and existential threats in our country are only getting worse (hat tip to here for the lead). Stepheny Price and Bill Melugin write,
Eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS were busted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force in three major cities, a federal source confirmed to Fox News.
The arrests took place in New York City, Los Angeles and Philadelphia in recent days, according to the source.
All eight Tajikistan nationals crossed the U.S. southern border illegally, and according to a federal source familiar with the sting, no derogatory information was initially flagged with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during processing.
The suspected terrorists were “fully vetted” and nothing was flagged, according to Fox News’ federal source.

This all comes as FBI Director Christopher Wray told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee last week that there is an increasing concern of a potential coordinated attack in the U.S., similar to the Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) attack in March at a concert hall in Russia.
So, now, it looks like we have people with the intention of carrying out act of terrorism already on U.S. soil who have been allowed in by our current left-leaning administration and allowed to go wherever they want to go in our country.
Law enforcement didn’t stop them from coming into the country and didn’t find their ties to ISIS until they were already in the U.S. and (it looks like) were already making plans to do horrible things to Americans.
With that in mind, who do you think has the best chance of stopping a terrorist that the Department of Justice hasn’t found? It’s a legally armed American on site when the attack comes.
And, remember, people with evil intent don’t show us the courtesy of telling us beforehand where and when they’re going to show up to try to kill innocent people. So, that means that you and I should train with our firearms to be prepared and always have our weapons on hand so that if, heaven forbid, a terrorist attack happens near us, we can take effective action to (ideally) prevent the attack or, at the very least, minimize the number of people injured or killed by the attack.
You and I have the responsibility to do that because no one else can do it for us.
