Question for you: How do you explain a situation that you said can’t happen, and, yet, it has? Do you apologize for being wrong? Do you stop and think through how you came to the wrong conclusion? Do you wonder why you were so sure of your answer, and, yet, it was the wrong answer?
If you’re a decent person, you do all of those things. If you’re a rational person, you do those things. If you’re the kind of person who helps to make the world a better place, you do those things.
Do you know who doesn’t do any of those things? Most anti-2A people.
Now, to be fair, because they get their information from the biased legacy mainstream media, many of the people on the anti-2A side of things never hear stories like today’s story, and they are never confronted with the implications of what that story means for their anti-2A views.
But anti-2A politicians? They have no excuse.
And we should be demanding that they explain how this can happen because they keep telling us that, when strict gun control is in place, this can’t happen (hat tip to here for the lead). Josh DuBose gives us the story:
A 39-year-old man was arrested after reportedly firing at passing commuters in Riverside County early Monday morning, killing a husband and father of four children and injuring another person.
The tragedy unfolded around 6:30 a.m. on State Street in San Jacinto near West 7th Street.
Authorities with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department flooded the intersection on reports of the suspect, now identified as Julio CesarRodarte, firing randomly at passing cars.
For Griselda Zepeda, whose husband Victor Hugo Leon was allegedly killed by Rodarte, the loss is unbearable. Married for 13 years, she and Leon were raising their four children in the first home they ever bought two years ago in San Jacinto.
A video on X reportedly of the incident shows a guy walking down a sidewalk beside a busy road just randomly shooting at cars going by, no apparent rhyme or reason to it, not targeting anyone in particular, just shooting as if it were a toy gun that didn’t have bullets. And he tosses an empty magazine over his shoulder after the magazine is empty as if it is a toy to be discarded after it is no longer useful and continues shooting at passing cars.
It’s insane.
But it takes place in California, remember, so, this can’t really be happening, can it? After all, it’s a giant pain the backside to legally get a gun there.
And that’s the point, isn’t it? Criminals almost never get guns legally, and, therefore, gun control doesn’t apply to them. They aren’t obeying gun laws anyway, so, how will another one help?
But the hypocrites pushing for gun control don’t care about the truth. They only care about disarming you and me, and we should be demanding to know the truth of why.
