How To SAFELY And COMFORTABLY Carry In Gym Shorts

One of the issues that keeps coming up when it comes to carrying concealed is how do you carry your firearm when you aren’t wearing a belt (or without a bag on you, if you’re someone comfortable with carrying off body)? After all, you don’t have the belt that most holsters anchor themselves to for you to comfortably carry concealed.

The answer to that question is going to depend on the person answering. Some people go with off body carry, though, not everyone is comfortable carrying that way. Still others choose a partial belt and holster that anchors to that partial belt. Yet, others choose a holster that uses a clip to attach and anchor to your waistband on your clothes so that you can draw your firearm (you would need to make sure that your clothes aren’t so loose in areas as to allow that waistband to move too much for you to effectively draw your gun to make this option work).

But there is another solution that some people are defaulting towards that allows a person to carry without a belt because it has its own belt and that doesn’t have to worry about how much your waistband can move if you have to draw in an emergency because it has its own anchoring system.

In fact, this solution is something that you can use in any type of clothes except, maybe, cycling shorts or tights (because they are too tight to allow concealment underneath the garments). Yes, you can even use it in gym shorts and when exercising in the gym.

Now, does everyone like the Enigma? No, but if you’re looking for deep concealment that you can use with the overwhelming majority of your clothing options, then, the Phlster Enigma may be worth taking the time to look in to.

And, if you get an Enigma (or if you stay with another holster system), you’ll want to practice to make sure that you have a good drawstroke and that you draw and effectively get on target.
