Anti-2A politicians are some of the most conniving, most devious people in the world. And, while there are certainly some on the Republican side of the aisle that can and have been called those names, it seems that those terms apply more commonly to the Democrat side of the aisle. And to prove that, you just need to look at how they treat gun control policies and their effects.
For example, pro-gun politicians tend to be more along the lines of thinking that we need to look at the data in context to see what’s really going on and, then, get to the actual root of the problem instead of trying to strip innocent and law-abiding Americans of their gun rights based on flimsy reasoning that uses data taken out of context.
Anti-2A politicians, though, consistently try to gaslight people about the effects of their policies, especially their gun policies.
Take, for example, the situation that you may have heard about going on in Denver, Colorado where (it is alleged) a bunch of Venezuelan ex-convicts have formed a gang (yes, like the Crips, Bloods, or MS-13), have gotten guns, and have taken over apartment complexes, terrorizing people who live in those complexes. Not to mention the other criminal activity centering geographically around those complexes.
But the Democrat governor of Colorado says this isn’t really happening. Candace Hathaway writes,
Colorado Governor Jared Polis, a Democrat, claimed Wednesday that reports that a violent Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, has invaded parts of the state are largely the figment of a city councilwoman’s “imagination.”
Polis released the comments after KDVR, a local news outlet, shared a video of a group of men carrying firearms while storming through an apartment complex in Aurora, Blaze News reported. A separate video of the same residence taken at what seems to be an earlier time captured a man using a hammer to destroy the door’s deadbolt lock.
The news outlet reported that illegal immigrants have taken over the apartment complex, which has since become a hot spot for criminal activity, including violent shoot-outs.
Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky recently told Fox News Digital that the Denver metropolitan area has been experiencing more gang-related crime.
As a result of the increased presence of TDA, the Aurora Police Department formed a special task force. However, police have noted that TDA’s influence is “isolated” at this time.
Despite the video evidence and police reports of the gang’s activity, Polis claimed that TDA’s alleged takeover is largely “imagination.”
That’s right, Governor Polis thinks that people are just making this up.
This is in spite of the fact that it can be argued that Democrat policies on policing (defunding police), gun control, and other policies are the reason that these gangs are even showing up in Denver in the first place, much less why they’re able to stay there.
Even with video evidence showing people alleged to be gang members with guns (and the videos show people with guns acting aggressively even if they aren’t gang members), how can any honest person say that it’s all imaginary?
The answer: They can’t.
This is how anti-2A politicians try to gaslight Americans into supporting their failed policies like gun control. They put policies into place that have devastating consequences, then, those same politicians that put the bad policies into place deny that anything bad is happening or, when they can no longer deny it, they blame the awful outcomes on something other than those bad policies.
The American people deserve better than that, and people need to wake up and stop voting for those that lie to them constantly.
Oh how ironic what with the gov’s last name that in his opinion there apparently isn’t any crime in his fair state. Good thing he is well protected, meanwhile his constituents will just have to make do.
All they can “talk” about is gun control !!! But they fail to understand that 85% of the gun related deaths and robberies are committed with illegally obtained firearms……i.e. stollen, “home made”, smuggled, etc.
When they show me how they will control the above, I MIGHT start to believe that they are thinking before they speak !!!!
