Australian Gunsmith To Americans: It’s Just The BEGINNING

American gun owners would be smart to look over history, especially from the last 100 to 120 years to see how the world really works. I don’t mean the revisionist history that is trying to recast gun owners and everyone who isn’t a leftist as horrible racists who just want power over other people (I’m looking at you, 1619 Project, and at you, Howard Zinn).

Really, you don’t even need to go very far back to see the effects of certain political policies such as gun control. You can just look at Australia.

Anti–2A zealots like to push Australia as a success story for gun control, conveniently ignoring the fact that the violent crime rate was falling when gun confiscation was implemented there, and that confiscating guns didn’t change the trajectory of that violent crime rate at all. In other words, gun confiscation didn’t have any affect on violent crime, but it did disarm the people. Daniel Y. Teng writes,

In a stark warning to U.S. gun owners, Australian weapons manufacturer Lance French says firearm control laws—once introduced—never stop expanding.

The owner of SGS Industries made the comments during the Western Australian Firearms Community Alliance meeting on April 1.

The meeting of gun owners and industry experts was held in reaction to impending state laws that will expand the gun control regime to ban high-powered firearms.

“Gun control doesn’t stop at a particular gun. It just keeps going. It’s relentless. It doesn’t stop,” French told The Epoch Times. “They’re making these false claims that certain items are dangerous when what’s dangerous is a person, and it’s a very low percentage of people.”

French sees what too few Americans see: anti–2A zealots will never be satisfied until we are all helpless before criminals and a government that can do to us whatever it wants.

Preventing that kind of oppressive government is exactly why the Second Amendment was put into place in the U.S., and we would all do well to remember that and to oppose all gun control everywhere.

  1. We have to make a STAND AND IT HAS TO START NOW. CAN WE TRUST OUR M.ILITARY TO KEEP THERE OATH AND WHAT ABOUT OUR POLICE ? ONE THING IS FOR SURE WE CAN’T TRUST ANY FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

  2. “” FIREARM CONTROL LAWS—ONCE INTRODUCED—NEVER STOP EXPANDING. “”
“” “GUN CONTROL DOESN’T STOP AT A PARTICULAR GUN. IT JUST KEEPS GOING. IT’S RELENTLESS. IT DOESN’T STOP,” “”
These 2 statements sum up Anti–2A zealots to a T don’t believe me look back to the National Firearms Act of 1934 and all other INFRINGMENTS after …
There are numerus laws against crimes with arms yet they get a slap on the wrist but you jwalk and your in jail …

  3. They are definitely tracking purchases. This is based off of the fact a person was approached by ATF about his FTR assemblies he ordered. Machine gun by definition in dumbed down terms is, you press the trigger once and you send multiple rounds through the rifle with just one trigger pull. With FTR and 3 round burst, you have to squeeze the trigger multiple times to shoot rounds in the same capacity as “machine gun”. Im sure the ATF will lose this in court, but still its dumb, and its proof they are watching purchases. Be warned people.

  4. As part of the English Commonwealth, Australia, like New Zealand, Canada and the other Provinces, never had a 2nd Amendment to begin with. That’s the big difference between these countries and the US. Our Founders recognized early on that the Right to Self Defense is a Right you are born with, and that No Government, should be able to Infringe on that Right. When Madison proposed his list of Amendments to the Constitution, the Right To Keep and Bear Arms was at the top of his list, even before the Rights to Free Speech and Freedom of (not From, OF) Religion. The delegates chose to place it second rather than first because they feared it would be too Martial sounding.
Australians, like the other UK provinces had little choice when Gun Confiscation was enacted. He’s right though, that we must boldly and strongly oppose any and all attempts to remove our Divine Providence given Right. Our Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers failed to do so in 1934, as our Fathers failed again in 1968. Both the NFA and GCA are blatantly Unconstitutional, but our Government, all three branches continue to uphold those Unconstitutional actions, demonstrating how Corrupt and Tyrannical they really are.
I’ve said it before and I’ll keep repeating it until everyone’s sick of hearing it, but the time approaches when we will be forced to stand up and take back what God gave us, and elected Potentates try to steal.
“But when a long train of abuses and ursurpations pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government and establish New Guards for their future security.”
The Blueprint’s is there fellow Patriots. Our Founders gave us that Blueprint before they gave us our Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is up to you and I to follow the Blueprint, lest our Children and Grandchildren must suffer.

The time approaches, and it’s coming faster than we think.

    • Yes we have the 2nd. Amendment telling the federal government SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED but no one brings up the 10th. Amendment : “” The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. “” .
NOR PROHIBITRD BY IT TO THE STATES , INFRINGED sounds like a very strong prohibited to me .
When does their house of cards fall ?

  5. We know they never stop. See Britain. Then check the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence and the clauses regarding unalienable rights and long trains of abuses and usurpations. Then read a bit further regarding rights and duties.

  6. Don’t just say “no”, say “HELL NO”. As a veteran my oath to the Constitution still stands. Anyone who will violate the Constitution (“just following orders” or not) is a TRAITOR and would/should be dealt with accordingly. That mean’s using force if necessary. We as American’s also live under another document other than the Constitution and that being THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE as important now as back then. Read it, it is exactly the same issues, history is repeating itself again.

  7. We need someone in our Military to start the take back of our government. Once they start it, all of us Patriotic Americans will rise up to help with purging our country of communists and traitors. Politicians, actors and people in the news and media fields need to be dealt with and imprisoned or deported. Criminal illegal aliens need to be rounded up and deported. Elections need to be secure, on paper, hand counted and picture ID required to re-instill faith in our electoral process. The Bill of Rights needs to be adhered to and ALL unconstitutional laws voided like GCA 1934 and GCA 1968. If this is done we the people can save our country.

  8. GEE- can I get the concession stand that sells tea shirts — You know the ones with the bulls eye on the middle back of it. That would give our foe’s a better target and that way our military( that only had 3 or 4 days of real good training with fire arms a much better chance of dying quickly with out much pain or disability’s like arms or legs missing! I PERSONALY think that to die quickly would be more humane than a longer more painful & less useful life.BUT THAT IS ONLY MY WEARD THINKING. tata JOHN

  9. The “Nanny State” cry babies, all seem to fall back on the same worn-out. phrase, “If it will just save one life, it will be worth it”. That is pure B.S. I am not going to live on my knees. While limp wristed cowards and weak-kneed liberals dictate what I can own, where I can live, what I can eat. Just because they say so! If you do not enjoy, or at least respect the freedoms that we have in this country. Then move somewhere else! And leave the rest of us to live in peace.
