One thing that never seems to go out of style with anti-2A activists are their attempts to make the world more dangerous by keeping people from being able to defend themselves. Sure, they wouldn’t put it that way, but that is the effect of gun control, isn’t it? The law abiding, the ones who need to defend themselves, can’t defend themselves as effectively in a society with gun control.
So, of course, anti-gun activists were furious that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled against New York State’s gun control laws in the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen ruling. They are always angry about rulings which make sense and actually conform to the law of the land (the Constitution), though.
That’s why I’m not surprised that anti-2A states are working to steal Americans’ 2nd Amendment rights even after the Bruen ruling. Michael Clements writes,
In many blue states, where strict gun laws are the norm, legislatures took the opposite path. California, Oregon, Illinois, Washington, and other states implemented more firearms restrictions or refitted existing laws to the new standard.
Washington, Illinois, and Delaware joined the seven other states that banned certain types of semi-automatic rifles, so-called assault weapons.
Other states added prohibitions on where guns could be legally carried, expanding their lists of “sensitive places.”
The centerpiece of New York’s reaction to Bruen was the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA), announced on Aug. 31, 2022.
The CCIA increased the training required for a license, expanded the number of places where concealed carry was prohibited, made in-person interviews and a review of an applicant’s social media accounts mandatory, and reduced the license recertification period from five years to three years.
In other words, they found other ways to make it hard to comply with the law and own a gun, and, as Clements notes in his article, these new gun control regulations prevent people who are in fear for their lives from being able to arm themselves to protect themselves from people openly threatening them in public.
It’s a horrible irony that gun control makes the vulnerable easy targets while being sold as a way to keep the vulnerable safe.
So, if you live in a blue state (which is where gun control is typically implemented), you will have to keep working hard to prevent your government from making you a victim. Because that’s exactly what they’re trying to do.
I cannot imagine owning a home without protection inside. I would feel uncomfortable and would most likely ignore that law.

It isn’t how they ‘think’ they will bypass the law, it is exactly HOW they are doing it, at least until they get slapped down by the supremes. IF that body actually gets off their hind quarters and rules against these draconian actions. Meanwhile, free Citizens – even those in the ‘blue’ states are speaking with their wallets by arming themselves as best they can. Never mind that criminals continue to ignore those laws and joyfully go after their unarmed victims.
Criminals Do Not care about nor Obey Laws for firearms. Every Law Abiding citizen should be required and issued firearms, trained to be proficient, supplied with training Ammunition and retention of Ammunition supply. This will end all crime. WAKE UP PEOPLE WAKE UP!!
OK, so when do the criminals have to take training??? The don’t. When logical thought process takes place, the crimopnals have more gun rights then the law abiding gun owners. They can carry when and where they want. They don’t have to get a permit, they dan carry any gun they want. What is so screwed up is the fact that the gun grabbers will not go after the ctiminals. Why is that? Are they afraid of the criminals? Sure seems that way. None of the gun grabbers will tell us how they plan to defeat the criminals. They only go after the law abiding gun owner. If there is a gun grabber out there that has the gonads to engage in a heated debate, then lets have at it.
SCOTUS needs to make more Ruling the way the Constitution is written …
The 1st, says ” No law shall be passed “, 2nd. says ” Shall not be Infringed “, the 10th. says ” nor prohibited by it to the States, ” meaning they can’t do it either or they will be able to UNDO THE cONSTITUTION ” …

im 65 years old, in 1988 i was convicted of “felon in possession of a pistol prior to 5 years from discharge of sentence” in minnesota. i was the care taker of a peninsula between 2 lakes, at one place the land was less than 50 foot wide. the road had a huge sign over the top of the entrance stating that it was a private road and no public lake access. so i carried a 22 pistol because sometimes trespasser’s thought they wanted to bow up, like this couple of guys did when i had their car towed from MY DRIVEWAY when they parked there and walked beside my home to get to the lake to have a short cut to their ice fishing hut on the bay behind my house. when they got aggressive, all i had to do was pull my coat back so they could see i was NOT armed.
i was arrested on a different incident, the caretaker of a church camp across the bay in a different direction, had shot my dog when it crossed the ice and ventured less than 20 feet from the ice. she came home bleeding really good, so i grabbed my pistol to see just who had shot her(they had a gun, so i took mine to have some protection)(at the time in minnesota it was a FELONY to shoot a dog unless it was chasing deer or molesting livestock, or attacking you) the caretaker happened to be an ex police officer, and i told him that he was going to prison for shooting my dog. i went home and got my VHS VIDEO CAMERA and met the sheriff deputy at the entrance of the camp and followed him there and i recorded the whole thing until the deputy claimed he was finished, but the EX COP claimed he was afraid for his life and his families lives. BUT THE POLICE REPORT STATED THAT I HAD MADE NO THREATS!!
i got a SUSPENDED SENTENCE . THE CAMP COMPLAINED TO THE SHERIFF THAT I WAS DEMANDING MONEY ETC.. FROM THEM, BUT I WAS IN JAIL AT THE TIME. SO AFTER BEING SENTENCED AND LET GO, I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I WAS IN JAIL WHEN THEY MADE THEIR COMPLAINT, AND THAT I HAD THE VIDEO EVIDENCE AND THEIR CARE TAKER WAS CUSSING AND RAVING LIKE A MAD MAN, ETC… THAT I HAD NOT CONTACTED THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY BUT I NOW WANTED MY VET BILL PAID AND X AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION FOR THE TROUBLES CAUSED BY THEIR CARETAKER SHOOTING MY DOG!

In NYC it is a fact that the highest numbers of violent crimes come from the inherent Black on Black inbred culture of violence! That will never change. It goes thousands of years back when they were still in Africa. And every time the Hochfool passes new legislation proclaiming it will save lives, the death toll and numbers of violent crime go up! It is also fact that despite Cuntmo’s un constitutional UNSAFE ACT, hundreds of semiautomatic AR-15s civilian AK-47s and standard 30 round magazines still remain in the hands of law abiding citizens that refused to register them, turn them in or destroy them. Also note that the Blacks with the highest violent crime rates also continue to vote Democratic! Why? Ingrained and inbred SLAVE mentality to the Democrats. So whose lives are being saved? When governments take on the mantle of tyranny and seek by their actions to deprived citizens of their God given rights to life and liberty and their rights to defend their lives, then they must forfeit their reign or face the consequences!
