I can’t say that I know a single gun owner who is a fan of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Under numerous administrations (and maybe especially under the Biden administration), the ATF has gone out of their way not to protect Americans’ Second Amendment rights but to try to take those rights away from law abiding people.
It’s been absolutely despicable.
But today’s story may mark a new low for the ATF under the Biden administration (hat tip to here for the lead). Lee Williams writes,
Patrick “Tate” Adamiak never sold a single real firearm—not one—even though he sold $10,000 per month of military gear and gun parts legally as one of Gun Broker’s top 500 dealers. That is until the ATF decided to target him personally, frame him and lie under oath about the facts of his case. Now, unless someone quickly rights this unconstitutional wrong, Adamiak will be held in federal prison until 2042.Â
Adamiak insists that he only sold “non-regulated gun parts,” nothing “that qualifies as a firearm or that requires an FFL (Federal Firearms License).
If this situation weren’t bad enough, things took a horrible turn in his personal life, too. Again, from Williams:
Unfortunately, Adamiak’s mother died about a month after his arrest, according to his father, David Adamiak.Â
“It was terrible. What scumbags the ATF are,” his father said. “They arrested him on my wife’s birthday and she died about a month later. They put her in the grave.”Â
This whole situation is insane, and it happened to an (at the time) active duty Navy Master-at-Arms. This is someone who knows the ins and outs of the law and law enforcement.
Frankly, it sounds like the ATF was on a witch hunt, and this unfortunate gentleman was on the receiving end of that hunt.
The person who ordered this witch hunt and the people who went through with it (and especially those who lied under oath) need to all be fired immediately and prosecuted, and this man needs to be freed.
The ATF needs to go
Couldn’t President Trump give him a Pardon?
The problem is, to receive a pardon you have to admit you were guilty. Well, at least that’s how it is *supposed* to work.
None of Biden’s pardonees have admited guilt.
None of Biden’s pardonees have admited guilt.
