You may have heard in the news that some on the political left are extremely upset with Elon Musk. Now, the primary gripes seem to be that Musk is actually being nice to Donald Trump and/or that Musk is advocating for the Federal government to show some fiscal restraint and responsibility.
Maybe there is something else that I’m missing, but those seem to be the general issues on their part.
So, in the manner that we’ve come to expect from those who are the “party of tolerance” and the “party of joy,” political leftists have started to vandalism and damage Tesla dealerships, Tesla charging stations, and Tesla vehicles.
Because that’s a level-headed and mature way to handle a disagreement over… what policies exactly?
That’s absurd enough, but at least one anti-Musk “mostly peaceful protestor” took things to the next level. Tom Ozimek writes,
Police have arrested a suspect with alleged ties to far-left groups in connection with last week’s firebombing of a Tesla Collision Center in Las Vegas, an attack that destroyed three vehicles, damaged two others, and left the word “RESIST” scrawled across the building.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren announced at a March 27 press briefing that 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim was arrested the previous evening and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on 15 charges, including multiple felonies related to arson, property destruction, unlawful possession of incendiary devices, and firearms offenses.
Koren said surveillance footage captured Kim arriving at the facility in a black Hyundai Elantra. Dressed in black clothing, wearing gloves and a face covering, the suspect allegedly shot out security cameras, fired into parked Tesla vehicles, and used Molotov cocktails to ignite three of them. One unlit firebomb was found inside another car. Investigators say he spray-painted the word “RESIST” on the Tesla center’s front doors before fleeing.
That’s right, this guy firebombed Tesla property with Molotov cocktails and shot Tesla vehicles.
These are the types of people who gun control, if it is implemented at all, should be targeting. These people use violence to solve disagreements. They try to intimidate those of different viewpoints using violence, damage, and injury.
They are the dangerous ones.
Legal gun owners aren’t typically the people committing gun crimes or terrorist attacks, yet, leftist politicians are trying to take away our firearms instead of focusing on the people who are actually the dangerous ones such as criminals and people like the guy we’re talking about today.
It seems to make it clear that, for those on the political left, gun control isn’t about keeping people safe. It’s about control.
