What do you call a government that tries to trample your rights (even if they give lip service to protecting them)? Answer: a tyranny, and that’s what we have in some ways already based on the way at least one Federal agency violated people’s Second Amendment rights.
See, part of those rights is the right to be left alone about exercising that right (assuming, of course, that you aren’t initiating violence or, otherwise, violating someone else’s rights, including the right to be left alone).
That Federal agency, though, doesn’t seem to understand that their job doesn’t include trying to prevent you from legally owning and carrying a firearm. Yet, they’ve been busted doing exactly that. Emily Miller writes,
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has pressured Americans to “voluntarily” give up their Second Amendment rights, which is potentially illegal, according to newly disclosed documents.
FBI officials were found to have had a number of Americans fill out a form that said they want the FBI to make it illegal for them to purchase or own guns forever because of a mental health condition.
A national gun rights group, Gun Owners of America (GOA), is demanding the FBI remove these records from the background check database by Oct. 8 and that Congress enforce the removals.
“We’ve learned the FBI had no business disarming these individuals. They did not pose a threat to society. The FBI actions were wholly unlawful,” Aidan Johnston, GOA’s director of federal affairs, told The Epoch Times.
Fifteen people filled out the forms, according to documents GOA acquired through a Freedom of Information (FOIA) lawsuit.
Now, you may be saying, “It was only fifteen people. What’s the big deal?” And the answer to that question is that it shouldn’t have happened at all. Holding the FBI accountable about this is partly about the principle of the thing (making sure that government agencies abide by the law) but also about preventing this from happening to anyone else in the future by making it an issue, now.
People working for Federal agencies are sworn to uphold the Constitution. Pressuring people to give up any possibility of owning a firearm in the future is a horrible violation of their Second Amendment rights and should never have happened.
Its not just 1 Federal Agency Openly VIOLATED People’s Gun Rights its ALL GOVERNMENT , the 2nd. Amendment says SHALL NOT BE INFRINGEDA

Could you be more specific? How is this a crock of shit? What is a crock of shit? Are you against the 2A? Are you a firearms owner? Do you believe the right to bare arms is a crock of shit? Do you believe the Government has every right to do such things? What exactly are you saying here? Yes some people do have the knowledge and can fabricate untraceable weapons but that is basically an issue that exists in ANY location on this planet and it really doesn’t matter unless those people are doing so for nafareous reasons. Like to commit acts of terror like putting bomb belts on themselves and getting on trains, walking down the streets where parades are being conducted, entering Mosques or any other religious establishment. You know what I’m referring to. The point is, this countries foundation of bylaws known as the Constitution was designed by very smart people that had enough insight, knowledge and reasoning to know how the rule of law in England and many other countries had restricted basic GOD given rights of people to defend themselves against any acts of terrorism, aggression or domination by others. The worlds history is rife with this sort of conduct ! Even other well known personage, Jesus made specific issue over 2000 years ago to this issue. He said to his closest followers, found at Luke 22:36– Now let the one that has a purse take it up, likewise also a food pouch; and let the one having no sword sell his outer garment and buy one. (v37) For I tell YOU that this which is written must be accomplished in me, namely, ‘ And he was reckoned with lawless ones. For that accomplishment. In verse 38 they said look lord here are 2 and he said to them it is enough. From this, I learn and know that he was well aware of the how the Government of the region and times was about to move against him for what he stood for. Actually by the reference you make” dam hand gun or rifle, you are against the second amendment which makes me wonder if and why you are even in this country. If you are, again I ask WHY? Since you are not happy, why not return to where you came from or find a place you might be happy living under strict domination instead of even a little freedom ! Better yet keep your Dam opinions to your self. Maybe you would like to be living in Ukraine right now? I’m sure the Russians would love to use you for target practice or torture you !
