1 Crazy Governor Looks To Take On SCOTUS About You And Me

Those on the political left really go all out on their crazy takes on different issues. I mean, no matter what logic comes their way, no matter what legal (especially Constitutional issues) come up, they just keep pushing to steal the rights of everyday Americans and to shove their misguided (at best) policies down the collective throats of everyone like that busybody lady who keep harassing your homeowners association like a bulldog going after a side of meat to fine you because she doesn’t like the flowers that your wife planted (or maybe that’s just me).

Regardless of logic, sanity, or (real) common sense, those on the political left fight tooth and nail for their anti-2A policy positions like someone blindly following a cult leader to their doom. They really are zealots about it.

And one crazy, left-leaning governor, and the left-leaning legislature in that state, decided to directly oppose recent pro-gun rulings by the Supreme Court of the United States by passing more gun control legislation after their previous ones were made invalid by court rulings.

You’d think that they would have learned from New York’s court fights about these kinds of things, but, apparently, no.

Michael Clements gives us the details:

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey signed an expansive gun control bill on July 25, saying that the new law is a response to what she termed a “misguided” 2022 U.S. Supreme Court decision.H4885 enacts a laundry list of regulations backed by gun safety and gun control groups.

The new law bans guns built from kits, 3D-printed guns, and firearms that don’t have a serial number, known as ghost guns.

It expands the state’s ban on “assault-style firearms,” tightens licensing requirements, and expands the state’s gun registry by requiring that all guns be registered with the state, including those in the inventory of a federal firearms licensed dealer.

It also requires state officials to share gun tracing data with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

I wasn’t kidding. This governor went all in trying to strip all gun rights from people in her state.

Simply insane.

But if New York is any indication, this stupid legislation recently signed into law in Massachusetts will get thrown out again in court.

Really, the people of Massachusetts could use their government to try to actually do something useful and to make a difference for the people in that state instead of wasting everyone’s time and money trying to steal Constitutional rights of Americans. Because right now, it’s simply criminal what this governor and her cronies are doing.

  1. Sounds like the invaders will easily get across the bridge in Concord next time…

  2. The people of Massachusetts and most of the other Northeast States are the ones who put these politicians in offfice. You can blame the polician, but you have to remember it’s the idiots who elect them who create the problems.

I don’t want any of these NE folks migrating to my state. They are as bad as what is coming accross our Southern Border.

  3. She is ‘leaning left’ so far that she is likely gonna fall flat on her face! The only question I had based solely on the article title was witch lefty governor it was about, there are so many to choose from after all 🙁

  4. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t all of these “laws” already in the books???

    • not to the socialist. IT was a yankee socialist that I remember saying “the constitution is nothing but a G D piece of paper”. George W. Bush. The Bush’s are evil yankees from Maine. NOT Texas

  5. As Biden has shown repeatedly, the latest trick of the Dems is to simply ignore Supreme Court rulings that they don’t like, and I expect that liberal states will take the same approach; as demonstrated by the MA laws described in this article. Here in the People’s Republic of Washington, Lord Jay Inslee and his Dem legislature have passed anti-gun laws that clearly violates both 2A and the decisions of the Supremes regarding NY. But no one has managed to successfully challenge these laws, since the state supreme court is just as anti-gun and the Governor. If we’re lucky things will eventually escalate to the Supremes and we might get some relief. Assuming that Lord Jay (or whoever replaces him) follows the law. Which is doubtful…..
