Why Those In Anti-2A States Need Their 2A Rights MORE Than Anyone Else

According to anti-2A activists, strict gun control and banning guns (especially banning guns) help to reduce violent crimes. They argue that because guns are weapons, removing them completely from society (if that were even possible) would mean less people would be killed every year.

If you know the statistics taken in context (instead of taken out of context to try to make them support gun control), then you already know that the stated premise and justification for gun control is faulty. Gun control doesn’t decrease overall violence. It doesn’t decrease overall murder rates.

At all.

But if you need a real world example of how gun control doesn’t prevent crime, including gun crime, then, we have a story today for you from one of the states pushing gun control the hardest. Joseph Mackinnon writes,

Since receiving executive clemency from [Washington Governor, Democrat Jay] Inslee, [Percy] Levy — who the Lynnwod Times indicated sits on the Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County chapter’s board of directors as treasurer — has masqueraded as a changed man, working as a community outreach specialist for the Washington Defender Association and running the car dealership Redemption Auto.

Mackinnon continues:

Levy was arrested on March 13 after a traffic stop in Everett, Washington, and slapped with 11 Class B felony charges, including two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and eight counts of possession of controlled substances with attempt to sell. Each charge carries with it a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

And, again, from Mackinnon:

Detectives with the SRDTF reportedly secured a warrant for Levy’s residence, not far from where he was ultimately pulled over. At the scene, they apparently found 2,818 grams of powder cocaine, 14.7 grams of crack cocaine, and 556 grams of fentanyl — enough to kill well over 250,000 people, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. Detectives also found ample evidence signaling intent to distribute the drugs as well as a handgun.

That’s right, released convicted robber and BLM activist who was shown compassion by the system and by the politicians that want to defund the police and want soft on crime district attorneys was arrested again for possessing drugs (a lot of drugs!) and for illegally having a firearm.

So, drug charges and gun charges in a state with already strict gun control laws.

Levy actually sounds like the kind of guy that the average person wants to protect themselves from, but the anti-2A politicians in that state have made it difficult for anyone to get guns… legally.

Criminals being the only people with guns makes that state more dangerous to live in than pro-2A states. Much more dangerous. Because the law abiding people are the ones who can’t fight back against those who are much more likely to commit violence.

And that’s why people who live in anti-2A states may be the people who most need to have their own firearms. The life that they save may be their own.
