Biden Admin Called Out For DEFUNDING SCHOOLS To Push Agenda

How do you know when a politician is pushing an agenda instead of actually looking out for the best interests of the people that they (are supposed to) represent? You can tell when they hurt those people (and their children) under the excuse of helping them.

It’s kind of like telling people that you’re taking their money at gunpoint so that you can give them money to help them through a bad economy. The people would have been better off not having their money taken in the first place. They’d have more of it, and they’d have one less bureaucratic headache to deal with, too.

But political leftists like those we see in the current administration are nothing if not busybodies using our tax dollars against us and holding us hostage to giving our own money back to us.

A perfect example of this is a recent Biden administration move to defund education in some schools. I’m sure that it’s to protect the children, right? Samantha Flom writes,

Reports that the Biden administration has been withholding funds from school archery and hunting programs have “alarmed” two Republican senators.

According to a July 10 letter obtained by The Epoch Times, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) were notified by multiple schools of the Department of Education’s shift in policy following the enactment of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA).

“We were alarmed to learn recently that the Department of Education has misinterpreted the BCSA [sic] to require the defunding of certain longstanding educational and enrichment programs—specifically, archery and hunter education classes—for thousands of children, who rely on these programs to develop life skills, learn firearm safety and build self-esteem,” the senators wrote to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

That’s right. Apparently, the Biden administration seems to think that the best way to keep kids safe from firearms is to make sure that those kids don’t know how to be safe with firearms.

Makes perfect sense, right?

Of course it doesn’t, no more than does any of the other excuses that those in governments use to try to justify disarming law abiding Americans and working to make those people dependent on the government.

These kids deserve better. The American people deserve better.

  1. Keep them uneducated so they don’t know, that you don’t know what you are talking about …
Seeing that most anti-gunners don’t know what they are talking about …

  2. One of the big problems is that it was normal for kids to take their shotguns and rifles to school to use them or they kept them in their cars because after school or early in the morning they would hunt.

For many people today, owning a rifle or shooting a bow are not familiar to them and sadly, the anti-gun, safety patrol thinks that if they restrict people from anything that can kill that there will be less violence, but in reality, the desire or motivations for people to be violent have no correlation to weapons technology nor even the presence of weapons.

Most psychopaths, bullies, people that strike out of rage are all motivated and triggered by psychological issues and emotions. And many people kill or commit suicide using vehicles or tools or their barehand if that’s all they have. How many Thanksgiving Day fights end up in a stabbing? Should we now ban carving knives because a few stupid people can’t control their emotions and are stupid enough to stab a family member?

For people that use firearms and bows, they are simply tools and hunting is a way to procure food for the family. An object is just an object and it doesn’t think or feel. Otherwise, if we must restrict things based on peripheral effects then we should outlaw many luxury items the rich enjoy because they require using slave labor or they are rare items such as plants or animals that are endangered species.

Seems rather prejudice to end these programs which have become an expected part of the curriculum and part of the local tradition.

    • Right on Frank ! Then don’t also want you to hunt your own food either, they want you totally dependent on Government for your food, as for me and my house I’ll keep depending on God for my food, as he is the one who created it anyway, and Bill Gates can keep his synthetic-lab poison meat all for himself, but of coerce he will not eat it ether.

  3. I never saw this report, This could be based on numbers. If no one is taking the course is one thing, just do not have enough Info, I think the courses should be offered. Why would they give so little info but to start an outrage?

  4. according to senator Roger Marshall of KS. 500,000 kids a year go through these classes
