Deaths are sad events in our lives. Especially when those who died are young people who died before their time. And among the most tragic are deaths of law enforcement officers gunned down during the line of duty working to be the good guy/gal to protect civilians.
And that last situation is the awful type of story that we’re talking about today. That and how the current resident of the White House is trying to use those deaths in a hypocritical way to push his political agendas.
Cortney Weil gives us the details of this horrible story:
Four law enforcement officers were killed in North Carolina on Monday and several more wounded as they attempted to serve a warrant in connection with illegal gun possession.
I’d like to think that we can all agree that this shouldn’t have happened, that these four law enforcement officers would still be alive today.
But, then, Joe Biden, of course, used this awful situation to push his agenda. Again, from Weil:
President Biden also weighed in, calling the fallen officers “heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.” However, as is his wont, he then used the deadly incident to demand more gun laws. “Now,” he said.
“Leaders in Congress need to step up so that we ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require safe storage of guns, and pass universal background checks and a national red flag law,” his statement continued.
“Enough is enough.”
Now, stop for a moment and think about this. Four officers died (and four others were wounded) while trying to enforce a gun control law. So, Biden’s response is to call for more gun control laws?
What a hypocrite.
And what a foolish thing to do. After all, criminals don’t obey gun laws (which is why this whole incident happened in the first place), so, implementing more gun control is likely to mean more lives lost.
And that simply should not be something that anyone wants to happen.
Dementia Joe simply doesn’t get it. Our 2nd Ammendment rights are there for a reason. His ideas are worthless. If someone breaks in, I don’t need to take time to gain access to a “properly stored” weapon while being killed. As for the “unofficial” gun registry, I don’t need authorities to know what weapons may be in my home. Mix a “swatted” call with a “no knock” warrant and it’s a really bad scenario for everyone. These folks aren’t smart enough to know how their “regs” would affect law abiding citizens, and that it does nothing to stop the law breakers. Our choice will be “be an unprotected slave” or “become a criminal.” No Thanks Joe

I voted for joe, but never again. I have been watching and reading every day about joe Biden and his tactics. I OBEY THE LAW AND I HAVE SERVED MY COUNTRY. I HAVE MANY WEAPONS AND THEY ARE AL LLEGAL. The full amendment states, ‘A well regulated MILITIA,BEUNG NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE, the right of the people to keep and bear arms,Shall not be INFRINGED”.
THIS means that the government cannot take away the RIGHT of the people to keep and bear firearms.
