I admit it. I enjoyed the John Wick movies. Stories of revenge against evil people done with extreme violence and really great equipment can be really entertaining even if I don’t actually want to live through that kind of situation.
But, again, great equipment is really appealing. It’s always fun to take something new to the range to get a feel for it.
And if you like movies and specialty shooting equipment, maybe there is an appeal to you, too, of getting your hands on a specially-designed firearm that you can enjoy.
Especially if it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.
Which is exactly what one manufacturer has done with a pistol that they’ve released. The manufacturer? Canik. The pistol? The TTI Combat. Dave Luu writes,
TTI stands for Taran Tactical Innovations, which is Taran Butler’s custom shop. If you don’t know who Taran Butler is, he’s the man that first conquered the competitive shooting world and is now taking over Hollywood as gun trainer to the stars. In addition to training big action stars, Taran also builds high-end custom race guns. His guns are some of the best in the world. And as you can imagine, they demand a commensurate price tag.
Canik, on the other hand, has garnered a reputation of producing high-quality, reliable firearms at value prices. In addition, the company is known for quickly responding to customer requests producing firearms with all the newest features that are popular in the market.
In a stroke of genius, Taran partnered with Canik to produce a gun has both the design elements of TTI and the large-scale production capabilities of Canik.
Luu makes it sound like an exciting firearm to have, and he concluded his review with the following statement:
It’s not often that I wholeheartedly endorse a firearm, but I’m going to guarantee that if you pick up a Canik TTI Combat, you will not be disappointed.Â
Clearly, Luu likes the gun.
Other people do, too, including this guy who called it “The Affordable John Wick Pistol.”
He liked it so much, he also did a 1,000 round review.
A really great pistol, especially for the money.
To put it plainly, if you’re wanting a pistol with a great trigger, great accuracy, that is fun to shoot and doesn’t break the bank (I’m seeing street prices just under $900 at the time of this writing), the Canik TTI Combat may be a gun worth considering.
