Here is a question that (almost) no one seems to be asking: why are the politicians who want gun control the same politicians who tell police to stand down in the face of rioters and looters? What does it say that those politicians value the “right of expression” of people that involves theft and damage of property over the rights of of people to defend themselves from rioters and looters?
Of course, these aren’t questions that the mainstream media brings up because it would make their blatant bias and attempt to hijack American politics obvious to even the most blindly anti-gun leftist.
Fortunately, at least one person is pointing this out. In an op-ed piece for The Washington Times, John R. Lott, Jr. writes,
Minneapolis and other major cities have finally re-opened, at least to looters and arsonists. For three days, police in Minneapolis and St. Paul were ordered to stand down as rioters destroyed their cities. In New York City and Washington, D.C., on Monday night, police stood by as looters destroyed parts of those cities.
The same politicians who ordered police to stand down and released prison inmates are the same people who want to ban guns. These politicians prevent citizens from protecting themselves, at a time when police protection cannot be depended on.
For three days, police in Minneapolis and St. Paul were ordered to stand down as rioters destroyed their cities. Sadly, so many of the victims of this violence have been blacks. Black store owners have lost their businesses. In these heavily black areas, blacks will lose their jobs. Black shoppers worry they “have nowhere to go now.”
As Lott points out, even though these riots were supposedly to allow African-Americans to express their anger about racism (even though many witnesses say that it hasn’t been the blacks protesting George Floyd’s death who have been the people rioting), African-Americans living in those cities are disproportionately the people who will be most negatively affected by the lack of businesses in those areas of the cities now as those businesses have closed, some temporarily and some permanently.
So, you have to ask, why do those politicians support rioters and looters, violence and theft, when those same politicians say that they want to ban guns to prevent violence? The answer certainly doesn’t seem to be that they care about safety, and, therefore, safety can’t be why they want to ban guns.
So, why won’t they be honest with us, and tell us the truth?
Reminds me of Nazi politicians and Brown Shirts …
It reminds me of events which led up to take overs of formerly democratic, or mostly democratic governments whose people wanted all the benefits of socialism and the promises it held out as carrots on sticks, not realizing that their human rights were the cost of the lies behind it all.
How about we determine who in our government who were required to swear on the Constitution are in violation of their oaths of office and should be removed from office, put on trial for treason and put in one of our comfy little institutions where everyone wears the same uniform, lives in the same facilities and are comes around subjected to the same restrictions as have our military POW’s incarcerated by our enemies. After all What goes around, comes around. Besides, if they were to seize power and do away with our democracy of today do you think that they’d give a damn how we’d survive.
the left doesn’t want us to know the truth about guns because an armed people are polite people and they can not be be controled like disarmed people can be they want us to do what they say with out question and they believe that we are not smart enough to take care of ourself without help
It says they are hypocrites, but since they are Democrats we already knew that.
No matter what anti gun laws freedom hating politicians pass, I will NEVER give up my weapons.

They have told lies for so long that they don’t recognize the truth when it slaps them in the face. They delusional. The left has tried so hard to kick God out of this country and when He goes He won’t be coming back and this country as we know it will have self imploded. May God our Father have mercy on us and our country. Please pray as you have never prayed before, knowledge that you are a sinner and ask Christ in your heart and be humble.
What does it say? It says we no longer have laws nor government, day to day, and the worst among people will step in and take control, on their terms, by physical force. In the absence of law and government (no cops of ANY sort), we have to step in ahead of these worst people and preempt them, since the cops at the direction of their higher ups won’t, and put things back in order, back to NORMAL, thumbing our noses at the higher ups, like the worst have done, and enforce our Founding Documents and the laws, OUR TERMS, which are still on the books, and take over accordingly, by FORCE! We must martial all police and military troops, municipal, county, state and federal, to WIPE OUT these insurrectionists here at home, on our own streets, period, over and out. This is a WAR, no holds barred. Send in the active federal regulars, on our own streets. Liberally refund them every two years until the job is done.
Maybe they are hoping that those of us who are concerned for our lives and safety will move to another jurisdiction, taking our “probable opposition vote” along with us, leaving them firmly entrenched, for life, because there is no longer any opposition.
When these POLITICAN remove their bodyguard from protection them. Then we can see how long they live! All these guns laws are aganist the second amendment right of everyone! If the Left don’t want a gun then don’t buy one! Don’t even show your ass! That way you won’t meet your maker SATAN! BECAUSE YOU ARE EVIL!
Well if you SUPPORT BLM then you are part of the problem! These people don’t care about black people. Just the things they can make donated to their HATE FOR AMERICA groups! If your company made a donation to BLM they are a FOOL! All kind of figured show most BLACK are kill by other BLACK! But BLM doesn’t care! What about the other race GOD CREATED? IF THESE DON’T MATTER THEN BLM DOESN’T MATTER!
What “it says” is that they are manipulative scumbags and bought and paid for by rich elitist or foreign constituents and powers.
They are also cowards who pander and appease the mob. They hope to use them and then discard them, but they think they’re invincible and so do their string pulling puppet masters.
It means Americans and America come second to their agendas.
“Never let a good crisis go to waste.” If someone does what these politicians do it’s because they are trying to make the situation worst so that they can create a crisis and seize more power. That’s really all you need to understand. Politicians in general are liars, thieves, scoundrels and hypocrites.
Shoot any body who isn’t for equal justis under the law, that’s the line in the sand, we didn’t start this, but we, God’s people will finish it, amen any one.
