Well, here’s a bit of irony for you: A March For Our Lives participant was arrested for threatening to murder children (hat tip to here for the lead).
No, this isn’t a joke or satire. Sadly, it’s the truth, and it would be funny if it weren’t so disturbing. Meghan McRoberts gives us the details:
Laurence Wayne Key is facing federal charges under the offense of “communication of a threat to kidnap or injure a person.”
A criminal complaint shows Key is accused of calling Mast’s Washington, D.C. office Monday, and telling an intern who answered the phone, “I’m going to find the Congressman’s kids and kill them. If you’re going to separate kids at the border, I’m going to kill his kids. Don’t try to find me because you won’t.’
Now, you would think that this guy, who supports students’ right to live without being murdered, would understand that children are off limits in a political disagreement, but, apparently, that isn’t the case.
Unfortunately, this seems to be a troubling trend among anti-gunners and those who promote gun control. They are completely amoral about who they are willing to use to get what they want and becoming more and more unhinged in what they are willing to do. If they think that putting kids in front of a camera to cry and make emotional appeals will help their agenda, then you end of up March For Our Lives. But, if they believe that endangering someone else’s children will help their agenda, then those children are simply “collateral damage” and “acceptable losses.”
It’s completely evil.
And there is the very real possibility that it could get worse. Keep in mind that pro-2nd Amendment people like you and I are generally considered to be Trump supporters (no matter what your personal politics are) because Trump ran a pro-2nd Amendment campaign. John Boch writes,
Given that sort of rhetoric and encouragement, there exists a high likelihood that more of [Republican baseball game shooter] Hodgkinson’s ilk will resort to violence. After all, living in their cocoon, they believe that the majority of America supports their radical beliefs and that justifies their use of physical force. Even for those not (yet) turning to guns, or bombs, other far-left Democrat mobs will grow more emboldened by the Maxine Waters and Hamilton Nolans of the left-wing echo chamber.
Sooner or later, this mob will expand their potential targets to anyone perceived as a possible Trump supporter. They may target specific people like Pam Bondi and her boyfriend, or they may select targets of opportunity. Either way, guess what: no matter your politics, if you’re a gun owner, you are their perceived enemy.
We teach people not to ignore an articulated threat by a potential attacker. If someone angry at you says, “I’m going to kill you,” you should listen. As they say, the FBI would call that a “clue.” You should take credible threats seriously and act accordingly to defend yourself.
The gun-hating left is telling you what they intend to do. With this in mind, the prudent people will take precautions for their own self-defense. If you have a carry license, or live in a constitutional carry state, make sure you carry a gun. If you have not yet acquired your CCW, do so right away.
Don’t forfeit your life because you left your safety rescue tool at home.
The fact of the matter is that, while the media and the lunatic fringe of the anti-gun movement get more and more frantic, they could be more likely to do extreme things, and, yes, this means even doing hypocritical things if they think that it will advance their agenda.
It’s sad and scary and despicable. And you need to be able to protect you and your family from these nutcases.
There are left wing hate groups that are publicly advocating murder of decent, honest citizens. What is the FBI doing about this?
The FBI has been politicized by Obamamzer and his deep state operatives will protect them.

Carrying a gun is not necessarily a solution. The bad guy has the element of surprise. But an outright murder is different. It is a threat that is against the law. The threatening person can be dealt with IF a prosecutor will take the case. But unless no weapon is included in the threat, there is no way to get the person imprisoned. Carrying concealed works only if the person threatening misses on his first shot. But carrying concealed does provide for retaliation if the bad person misses. That puts the potential shooter on guard and may cause him/her to miss on the first shot. That is better than being unarmed.
Probably nothing.
The better question is what are we the people doing?
The Democratic politicians are stoking the flames. If one of these nut cases murders an innocent, honest citizen they might tell us that it was just a form of expression of free speech.
Read Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” ……what a eye opener that is. Obama and Hilliary Clinton were his most devout and active students.
Alinsky’s tactics are similar to the Brown Shirts who used violence against Hitler’s opponents and Jews. These violence promoters are no different and need to be dealt with by law enforcement otherwise decent citizens will have to fight them back. I they can’t win by elections or judicial rulings, they will use violence to intimidate their opponents.
I live in a CC state, and I always carry. At my age and in my health, I would almost welcome a challenge. “Too old to fight, and too lame to run. That’s why I carry a gun.”
The insane behavior by these liberal nutcases shows beyond the doubt over how seriously deranged that many of them have gotten, but when they cross the line by threatening to murder the children of the Trump employees and people who work for his administration, then action has to be taken! I hope Laurence Key gets a sane dose of reality when he’s arraigned in court over his stupid threats, along with other liberal offenders who have gone over the edge with their behaviors, like that Jimenez character who assaulted the teen at the Texas Whataburger by throwing a drink in the boy’s face and snatching his MAGA cap-totally stupid! the liberal progressives have become the lunatic fringe since Trump became the CIC of our Nation, and if they can’t deal with that reality, then they need to get on an Airplane and fly to Canada or Mexico because their Antifa terrorist behaviors will land them either in jail or in a coffin! the days of Obama are gone, and Trump is the CIC in charge, so they can leave the country, or come to terms with Trump’s leadership, but when they threaten staff and administrators with lawless behavior and threats, then they go directly to jail, period! the Saul Alinsky socialista bullshit doesn’t work in this country.

Threats like the one in the article deserve serious jail time – for a very looong time.

I seen this guy’s tombstone from 1886 I think, but he had a complete warning engraved on it about the democratic party. He said to watch out for these people because they’re evil and can’t be trusted, a 7 foot tall monument style headstone with 3 full paragraphs warning us all. This tells me they’ve always had bad intentions in their heart. If I can find it again, I’ll post it here so we all can see it.

The part about this administration seperating children at the border is misleading. It is being misled by the democrats and the media. Both are blaming this President for seperation laws at the border, where they need to go back and show that it has been going on since Bush 43, used more by Obama, and is in the process of being fixed under Mr. Trump. But you will never find the media posting this.
